Peter Connors is the President of Remcon Plastics, a family owned custom rotational molding company that he founded in 1983.

Located in Reading, PA, Remcon Plastics has grown to be the largest rotational molding company in the Northeast. With 75 employees operating 7 molding machines, the company molds their own product lines of materials handling containers for food and pharmaceutical production.

They also design and contract manufacture custom parts such as traffic barriers and commercial salt spreaders for snow and ice control.

Pete received a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Villanova University in 1973 and an MBA from the University of Denver the following year.

Pete became a co-founder of the Mustang Scholars Foundation when Tony McGeorge proposed the idea of helping one young person at a time as a way of shaping the future and together they launched Mustang.

With a Naval Academy Graduate & Marine Corps Officer as a father, Peter is familiar with the positive impact a military educational environment has on forming character, integrity, and a clear sense of duty. He is pleased Mustang offers such an opportunity to deserving young students.

Pete’s greatest sense of satisfaction comes when he has the opportunity to speak with Mustang Scholar alumni and realize what incredible leaders they have become.

Pete has three grown children and he lives in Radnor, PA with his wife Doren.
